Sept 21 — Sichuan provincial government and China General Nuclear Power Group (CGN) signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Chengdu. The pact, covering the 15th Five-Year Plan period, aims to optimize CGN’s investment footprint in Sichuan, accelerate clean-energy project development and construction, expand high-end energy equipment manufacturing, and build nuclear medicine and other industrial clusters and supply chains to support Sichuan’s industrial modernization.

Hong Kong-listed gold stocks softened in choppy trade: China Gold International Resources (02099.HK) fell over 7%, Lingbao Gold (03330.HK) dropped more than 4%; Shandong Gold (01787.HK) and Zijin Gold International (02259.HK) also declined.
