The Baltic Dry Index (BDI) rose 29 points, or 0.8%, to 3,399 on Monday as freight rates strengthened across all vessel classes. The Capesize index (BCI) gained 71 points, or 1.2%, to 5,839; Capesize average daily earnings rose $638 to $49,450. The Panamax index (BPI) added 4 points, or 0.18%, to 2,255, with Panamax daily earnings up $35 to $20,297. The Supramax/Handy index (BSI) increased 4 points, or 0.2%, to 1,771.

Sept. 21 — Ant Group CEO Han Xinyi announced an Alipay reorganization and personnel changes to accelerate its push into intelligent commerce. Alipay Business Group, Digital Payments Business Group and Zhima Credit will be combined into a new Alipay Business Group; Wu Minzhi will serve as president of the new group and concurrently as Ant Group chief product officer.

At its Sep. 21, 2026 H1 results briefing, Zhuojin Co. said its revenue is seasonal due to industry and business-model characteristics, with main revenue concentrated in Q3–Q4. Short-term revenue and gross margin have been distorted by individual projects; as project deliveries progress to meet full-year completion requirements, and based on prior years’ financial patterns, the company expects revenue and profits in Q3–Q4 to recover versus Q1–Q2.
