Iranian president PEZESHKIAN will address the UN General Assembly on Wednesday and is expected to set out Iran's positions on international developments, notably on what Tehran describes as US and Israeli aggression against Iran. A senior delegation will accompany him and he will hold high-level bilateral meetings during the UNGA. Former US president Trump will speak at the UN on Tuesday and has said he is open to meeting PEZESHKIAN there.
