IRNA reports Iranian foreign minister Araghchi, leading a senior delegation, arrived in New York Monday afternoon to attend the 81st UN General Assembly. En route he made a brief stop in Doha and consulted with Qatari officials on recent regional developments.

Domestic futures were mixed at the morning open: ethylene glycol (EG) and propylene fell over 3%, SC crude fell about 2%; fuel oil, low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and polypropylene grades (monthly average, bottle-grade) were down over 1%. On the upside, international copper, Soybean No.2, rapeseed meal and lithium carbonate rose more than 1%; cotton yarn, Shanghai copper, soybean meal and glass were up near 1%.

A-shares opened broadly higher; the ChiNext index peaked above 2% intraday then pulled back to close up 0.93%. Shanghai Composite gained 0.22%, Shenzhen Composite rose 0.62%. Combined turnover across the two markets exceeded 1.4 trillion yuan and more than 2,800 stocks advanced. AI application and cultural media sectors opened strong and led gains; innovative drug names rebounded after early weakness. Component, PCB and other compute-hardware stocks were active. Port and shipping underperformed; oil & gas and defense sectors registered the largest declines.
