China’s public mutual fund assets under management totaled CNY39.63 trillion at end‑August, up 1.35% MoM, the Asset Management Association of China said. Equity funds edged up to CNY5.04 trillion; bond fund size was marginally higher and overall flows were steady. Net asset values turned positive MoM in August, signalling a pickup in equity‑class sentiment, with mixed funds the largest driver of monthly scale growth.
