On Sept 21 UK Prime Minister Andy Burnham said Britain will deploy a "defensive"
RAF Voyager tanker to provide air-to-air refuelling for Saudi warplanes after
recent attacks by Yemen's Houthi rebels. Burnham, speaking en route to the UN in
New York, said he approved a Saudi request after advice from Defence Secretary
Wes Streeting and Foreign Secretary Ed Miliband; operations are due to begin in
the coming days and are temporary, initially expected to last several weeks.
