Wrtn Technologies, one of South Korea’s fastest-growing AI startups, has appointed Mirae Asset Securities as lead underwriter for a planned IPO, with NH Investment & Securities as joint lead. The company said it will apply for a pre-listing review next year. Wrtn, which runs a multi-model AI app, raised about KRW100 billion (~$88.5m) in an August C round at a KRW1.2 trillion (~$885m) valuation and has raised about KRW230 billion to date. The offering could help a weak Korean IPO market: Seoul IPO proceeds in 2026 are about $1.1bn versus more than $3bn annually in each of the prior three years.
