MASNA Ventures, Saudi Arabia’s first defense-focused venture fund, is seeking to raise its cap from $100 million to $150 million and has applied to SAUDI ARABIA'S CMA. The fund is increasing investment into localization of U.S. and allied defense technology production, citing recent Gulf conflicts and Houthi threats that exposed regional military shortfalls. MASNA is prioritizing autonomous maritime systems—drones, unmanned surface vessels and unmanned underwater vehicles—and aims to establish three operational joint ventures and make six capital investments in 2026.
