U.S. ultra-low-sulfur diesel (ULSD) futures fell more than 5% after reports the Trump administration is considering a 90-day diesel export ban.

US Energy Secretary Wright said a diesel export ban would not be effective.

US Secretary of State Rubio said both Russia and Ukraine have expressed interest in a limited ceasefire covering grain and energy. He warned both sides have treated energy facilities as strategic targets, making negotiations over an energy ceasefire likely to be difficult, and said the US is willing to play a constructive role in advancing talks. Rubio added he discussed the conflict and bilateral ties with Russian Foreign Minister Lavrov and hopes President Putin will accept a G20 summit invitation as an opportunity for direct US-Russia dialogue.
