At the morning close, China’s most-active futures contracts were mixed. Lithium
carbonate fell more than 4%; Shanghai silver and platinum dropped over 3%;
Europe-route container freight, polysilicon and palladium slid over 2%; coking
coal and live hogs eased about 1%. On the upside, SC crude rose over 4%; fuel
oil and synthetic rubber gained more than 3%; low-sulfur fuel oil (LU) and 20#
rubber climbed nearly 3%; LPG, bottle-grade PET chips and PTA advanced over 2%.
