Interfax reports Russia says it struck a Ukrainian cargo ship in the Black Sea.

Oracle has issued a force majeure notice on its planned New Mexico data center, seeking to avoid additional expenditure after the project encountered local opposition and regulatory obstacles. Insiders say Oracle is not trying to abandon anchor-tenant status but seeks to defer contractual payments if Project Jupiter is impeded and cannot go live as scheduled in 2028. The notice adds further complexity to the project.

At the UN General Assembly on the 23rd, President Shala of Syria’s transitional government reiterated that the Golan Heights is Syrian territory, said any violation of Syria’s sovereignty would be stopped, and urged Israeli forces to withdraw to the Dec. 8, 2024 line while reaffirming adherence to the 1974 Disengagement of Forces Agreement. Israel’s defense minister Katz countered in a video statement that the Golan Heights is "forever an inseparable part of Israel."
