On Sept 24, Shanghai and Shenzhen combined trading turnover totaled CNY1.6534 trillion, down CNY111.62 billion from the prior session. Shanghai turnover was CNY783.61 billion (prior CNY834.13 billion) with volume 439 million lots (vs 467 million); Shenzhen turnover was CNY869.74 billion (prior CNY930.84 billion) with volume 526 million lots (vs 585 million). Zhongji Xuchuang led single-stock turnover at CNY16.87 billion, followed by Xinyisheng CNY11.07 billion, Guoci Materials CNY9.87 billion, Zhaoyi Innovation CNY8.77 billion and Changxin Technology CNY8.61 billion.

Miao Muyang, director of the Ministry of Culture and Tourism’s Industrial Development Department, told a State Council Information Office briefing the ministry will establish about 100 national culture and tourism industry development demonstration zones in two batches.
