Chinese President Xi met U.S. President Trump at the White House on the morning
of Sept. 24 local time. Xi said China’s stance on national unity and territorial
integrity is clear and urged the U.S. to uphold its opposition to Taiwan
independence and handle the Taiwan issue cautiously to underpin U.S.-China
strategic cooperation and bilateral ties.
