At midday close, China’s main commodity futures were mixed. On the downside, lithium carbonate fell about 5%, platinum and Shanghai silver dropped more than 3%, red dates slipped nearly 3%, palladium and live hogs were down over 2%, the container‑shipping Europe route eased about 2% and polysilicon lost just over 1%.
