European Commission says natural gas supplies remain stable.

Iranian Foreign Minister Araghchi met Egypt’s Foreign Minister Badr Abdelatty on Thursday afternoon to discuss bilateral ties and regional developments, with a focus on the Palestinian situation. Araghchi said all countries, particularly Islamic states, have a moral and international-legal responsibility to prevent large-scale harm to Palestinians. He cited Israeli actions against Lebanon, Syria and other countries, and called for stronger regional coordination — including within the United Nations and the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation — to counter Israel’s expanding influence and actions that threaten regional security and stability. The two ministers also discussed strengthening Iran–Egypt bilateral cooperation.

State media reported Saudi Arabia, Turkey and Pakistan will hold a meeting of senior military commanders to discuss supporting Saudi under a trilateral mutual-defense agreement. The Saudi foreign ministry said the meeting follows an attack by Houthi forces in Yemen and that the three countries will back Saudi "right to self-defense." Riyadh described the meeting as "emergency." It is unclear which specific military measures will be considered. The consultations come amid heightened regional security tensions as Saudi seeks closer defense coordination with regional partners.
