TASS reports President Putin said Russian retaliatory strikes have inflicted serious damage on Ukraine and have pushed Kyiv to seek a ceasefire. He said Kyiv especially wants strikes on Geran unmanned drones to stop because it has not found effective countermeasures. Putin accused Ukraine of initiating attacks on Russian civilian infrastructure and said Kyiv must now bear retaliatory strikes. He questioned the purpose of Ukrainian strikes on e‑commerce warehouses operated by Wildberries and Ozon and said Ukraine also attacked other infrastructure and merchant vessels, after which Russia began reprisals in multiple directions.
