Chinese President Xi said the future of China‑US relations is bright but the road will be tortuous and will face various difficulties and challenges. During the visit he and US President Trump agreed to further enrich the bilateral relationship’s positioning and jointly build a constructive strategic‑stability relationship based on respect, fairness and equality; Xi said he is willing to work with Trump, with courage and responsibility to history, to mark the development of China‑US ties.
