Today (Sept. 28, 2026) the Sichuan Culture and Tourism Development Conference and the 12th China (Sichuan) International Tourism Investment Conference opened in Chengdu. Organizers unveiled a '1+8+N' program — one main session, eight themed events and multiple consumer activities — timed to the Mid-Autumn and National Day holidays. Chengdu will stage over 200 cultural and tourism events, publish 50 flagship activities across music/performance, museum exhibitions, cultural-tourism consumption, local folk customs and fashion/lifestyle, and promote 10 themed scenes and 13 curated routes.
