CSI 500 index futures (IC) most-active contract fell 3.00% intraday to 7,247.6 points.

MOFCOM said China and the U.S. have agreed to establish a U.S.-China Investment Council under the bilateral economic and trade consultation mechanism. The council will create a formal platform for regular dialogue between the two sides on potential investment opportunities and barriers. Discussions will aim to improve policy transparency and predictability and to address legitimate corporate concerns, within each country’s laws and regulatory requirements.

Trump said the U.S. will prevail in a military and economic war with Iran, said Iran's inflation rate has reached 318%, and predicted the conflict will end "soon" and oil prices will fall.
