Sept 28 — At a launch in Yichang, Hubei, a Chinese developer unveiled what it says is the world’s first embodied intelligent robot built on a fully domestic electronic architecture. The developer said the architecture isolates control functions from AI compute while enabling integrated operation, creating an end-to-end domestic technology stack from AI decision-making to physical actuation and offering a technical option that could fully replace foreign solutions.

Delta Air Lines said flight DL251, an Airbus A330 operating Barcelona–Boston with 296 passengers, made an emergency landing in Porto, Portugal on the afternoon of the 27th after smoke was detected in the cabin. Refinitiv flight-tracking shows the flight departed Barcelona at 15:15 local time and landed at Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport at 17:45 local time.
