Israeli military said on Sept. 28 local time it completed a large-scale operation in Mansouri inside the southern Lebanon "security zone", destroying Hezbollah infrastructure. The military described the action as a "brigade-level" operation aimed at preventing Hezbollah from reconstituting and establishing footholds in the zone. It said residents had been ordered to fully evacuate the area roughly two months earlier to facilitate the operation.
