China's National Healthcare Security Administration (NHSA) said national-alliance continuation procurement for dental implant systems and orthodontic consumables has formally started. The NHSA said it will refine rules from the first round, shifting the competitive-bidding model to open inquiry and using multi-dimensional price comparisons to guide reasonable corporate offers. Participation has risen to 101 firms from 53 and registered device certificates to 660 from 269. The NHSA will next collect hospital procurement volumes and expects to complete this round of continuation procurement by year-end.
