Sept. 28 — SASAC said at a State Council press briefing that the central SOEs' 15th Five-Year plan has been issued. The plan targets raising the share of value added from strategic emerging industries in central SOEs by 5 percentage points by 2030; strengthens support for industrial software and key components; directs SOEs to lead AI adoption across sectors and to grow services and new pillar industries while boosting public-service support. It also calls for advancing construction of six networks and increasing investment in productive services, consumer services and emergency industries.
