China's State Council executive meeting, chaired by Premier Li Qiang, agreed to raise relending quotas to support tech innovation, technology upgrades, agriculture and small businesses, and will study measures to stabilize the property market and boost employment and incomes.

MOFCOM said China and the U.S. have agreed to establish a U.S.-China Investment Council under the bilateral economic and trade consultation mechanism. The council will create a formal platform for regular dialogue between the two sides on potential investment opportunities and barriers. Discussions will aim to improve policy transparency and predictability and to address legitimate corporate concerns, within each country’s laws and regulatory requirements.
