Libyan, Moroccan and Qatari military and government aircraft landed in Abu Dhabi during Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu's visit, Kan News reported.

Based on monitoring of 500 county markets and collection points, last week (Sept 21–27) China’s national live hog price was 11.36 yuan/kg, down 1.0% w/w; retail pork market price was 21.17 yuan/kg, flat w/w. Monitoring of 200 wholesale markets showed average wholesale pork at 16.27 yuan/kg, down 0.8% w/w and down 15.7% y/y. Experts said concentrated farmer sales raised supply while retailers bought cautiously, leaving prices steady to slightly weaker; the ministry expects hog and pork prices to be mostly stable this week.

Japan's top foreign-exchange official MIMURA said he is closely watching whether markets continue to give sufficient weight to explicit signals from Japan and the US on the yen, and that authorities are monitoring how Japan-US interest rate trends are influencing market moves.
