The National Development and Reform Commission said at a briefing that in 1H the service sector's contribution to economic growth reached 66.1%, up 5.9 ppt YoY. Since April the service-sector business activity expectation index has remained above 55% for five consecutive months, staying in a high reading.

It also promotes specialty financial service channels, backing retail pharmacies to expand professional and health-promotion services and establish health stations, and seeks to facilitate domestic medical-device and drug R&D and clinical trials (including originator and generic drugs) and the growth of personalized family-doctor contract services.

Sweden prime minister said Estonia has concluded Russia orchestrated an arson attack on a defence company and called the incident extremely serious. Sweden fully supports Estonia, is in close contact with Estonia’s prime minister, and said the attacks are aimed at weakening support for Ukraine and intimidating Europe; they will not succeed.
