Israel and the United Arab Emirates confirmed on the 28th that Israeli Prime
Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited the UAE on the 27th at the invitation of UAE
President Mohamed bin Zayed and met him in Abu Dhabi. Israel’s prime minister’s
office said the visit focused on strengthening bilateral ties and addressing
regional challenges. Netanyahu was accompanied by the head of Israel’s National
Security Council, the Mossad director, his military secretary and a
foreign-policy adviser.
