Reserve Bank of Australia Governor Bullock said the Middle East conflict has delivered a huge shock and made everyone poorer.

Li Chunfang, deputy director of the NDRC’s Industrial Development Department, said at a briefing that the NDRC, coordinating with 40 ministries and agencies, has identified 131 priority tasks for 2026–27. In the past six months relevant bodies have issued 81 supporting measures and more than 60% of the priority tasks have seen significant progress. Twenty-seven provinces have held provincial services conferences and issued documents to expand and upgrade the service sector, accelerating policy implementation.
