At a State Council Information Office briefing today (29), Minister Yin Hejun
said China will accelerate AI-enabled scientific research to reshape research
paradigms; strengthen high-quality academic systems, prioritizing emerging and
interdisciplinary disciplines; and drive whole-chain efforts to remove
bottlenecks in integrated circuits, industrial machine tools and high-end
instruments. He said the ministry will also step up R&D in strategic frontier
technologies — artificial intelligence, quantum technology, biotechnology and
brain–computer interfaces — to seize the technological high ground.
