Iraq Armed Forces spokesman Sabah Numan said on Sept 28 local time that US and
coalition forces will complete their withdrawal from Iraq on Sept 30 as
previously agreed. He said there are currently no foreign military bases in
Iraq, security conditions are stable with Iraqi forces deployed nationwide, and
security cooperation with partner countries will shift to bilateral arrangements
once the coalition mission ends.
