Michelle Bowman, Fed vice chair for supervision, said Thursday she does not
currently see an urgency to take further action on rates. She said officials
should wait to assess current economic trends and the impact of September's rate
hike before deciding on further policy moves, adding that inflation remains
above the Fed's target and a clearer read on trends is needed.
