Russian Defence Ministry said on Oct. 2 Russian forces struck infrastructure and
vessels serving Ukrainian forces in the early hours. Targets included a facility
at Izmail port in Odesa region used to receive, store and transport military
goods and fuel; a dry-cargo vessel carrying Ukrainian military supplies; a
road-rail bridge providing logistics support; and a substation in Kyiv region.
The ministry said Russian forces also took control of three localities in
Kharkiv and Sumy regions in the past 24 hours.
