Malaysia’s Finance Ministry said in a document dated Oct. 2 it will remove a 10% import duty on certain gold products, effective Nov. 1.

China Railway said on its WeChat account the national rail network carried 20.765 mln passenger trips on Oct 2. For Oct 3, passenger flow remains high with increased short- and medium-distance travel; China Railway expects about 18.9 mln trips and plans to add 910 passenger trains.
