Iran is reviewing a new US proposal delivered via Qatar that lays out a roadmap
and timetable for final nuclear talks, Iran International reported citing
conservative paper New Morning. The offer is based on the Islamabad framework
but seeks an earlier resumption of nuclear negotiations. Iran says the US must
first meet its commitments—including sanctions relief and release of frozen
funds—and Tehran’s seven principal conditions remain unchanged. Separately, Iran
and Oman have made progress on talks to open a new shipping route through the
Strait of Hormuz.
