Zhuhai’s Hengqin port recorded over 150,000 border passenger crossings on Oct. 4, the Zhuhai border inspection station said. The total surpasses the prior single-day record of 147,900 on May 2, represents a 20% YoY rise, and is the highest daily throughput since the port opened. The port has logged multiple days above 140,000 this year, with travel between Hengqin and Macau remaining elevated.
