IMF Managing Director Georgieva said governments must act urgently to address
imbalanced AI development, long-term energy shocks and a record debt build-up.
She warned the global AI race is producing growth concentrated in a few

defence spending and elevated public debt could also lift inflation. Georgieva
urged central banks to adopt a cautiously hawkish stance.
