Belarus’s rail shipments of gasoline and diesel to Russia fell in September
ahead of planned maintenance at one refinery, but year-to-date volumes remain
well above the monthly average, according to two industry sources and
institutional estimates. The country supplies Russia via two domestic refineries
that process Russian crude with combined capacity of about 24 mln tonnes/year
(roughly 480,000 bpd). September rail gasoline shipments declined about 13%
month-on-month to ~170,000 tonnes; diesel shipments fell 29% to ~105,000 tonnes;
jet fuel shipments rose to ~25,000 tonnes from 9,600 tonnes in August.
