China A-shares gave up early gains by midday; Shanghai Composite fell 0.27%,
Shenzhen Composite dropped 1.24% and ChiNext lost 2.13%. CPO and
optical-communications sectors plunged, with Yuanjie Technology, Changguang
Huaxin and Dongshan Precision locked at limit-down; Shijia Photonics and
Changxin Bochuang also tumbled. Bioproducts underperformed—Jinan Protein,
Baipusaisi and Sailun Biotech each slid more than 10%. Semiconductor names were
under pressure, including Siruipu, Weidao Nano and Shengbang. Battery sector
showed strength: Shidai Wanheng extended to a fourth consecutive limit-up, Zizhu
High‑Tech to a third, while Fengyuan, Lingpai Technology and Yema Battery hit
daily limits.
