Finland's data center buildout is accelerating. After Alphabet's Google
announced last month its largest-ever European investment in the country,
several new projects have followed. Benefiting from a cool climate, available
renewable power and ready grid connections, companies including Alibaba Group
and Applied Digital have announced plans to invest in Finnish data centers.
Total planned or underway investment now exceeds EUR 67 bln (about $75 bln).
