Via Shenzhen–Hong Kong Stock Connect, Tencent Holdings and Alibaba Group (Alibaba‑W) were net bought HKD 801 mln and HKD 280 mln; GenScript Biotech recorded the largest net sell at HKD 585 mln.

A Turkish government source said on the 7th Turkey currently has no plan to establish a military base in Saudi Arabia. The idea had been discussed under the Makkah Defense Alliance framework, but the source said "this matter is not on the agenda." A second Turkish government source on the 6th said any deployment of Turkish forces to Saudi would require legal and regulatory procedures and that no deployment timing has been set.
