According to a Refinitiv/Ipsos poll, 48% of supporters of former US vice president Harris are very enthusiastic about voting in November, versus 30% of supporters of US President Trump.

The SFC, Financial Services and the Treasury Bureau and HKEX said they are monitoring a rise in listed issuers whose financial statements carry a disclaimer of opinion solely on going‑concern grounds. They warned they will investigate misconduct or breaches and take regulatory, disciplinary or enforcement action as appropriate, and said HKEX may amend the Listing Rules — including requiring suspension of issuers with such disclaimer opinions — if the situation does not materially improve.
