Five people familiar with the matter said senior US and Russian officials held talks during the Ukraine war about bringing US investors into the Nord Stream gas pipeline, which supplied gas to Germany before the conflict. Participants included Dmitriev, an adviser to President Putin, and Kushner. Kushner, who has worked to broker a ceasefire, said commercial cooperation is key to restoring peace and would allow US investors to profit from gas flows to Europe once the war ends.

Solidigm, SK Hynix’s flash-memory unit, has selected Goldman Sachs and Morgan Stanley to lead a planned U.S. IPO, sources said. JPMorgan, Citi and UBS were invited to participate. The deal could come as early as 2027 with talks valuing the unit as high as $100bn; arrangements are ongoing and may change, and additional banks could join.
