Shenzhen Beike Research Institute monitoring shows real-time resale-housing signings rose 63% YoY during the National Day holiday; on a daily-average basis—comparing this year’s seven-day holiday with last year’s eight-day—daily signings were up 45% YoY. The institute said the Aug. 28 mortgage rule and the Sept. 29 purchase-loan interest-subsidy policy have jointly released policy support, prompting many buyers to consult, view and sign during the holiday and lifting Shenzhen property-market demand. It expects market activity to remain elevated, supporting demand into the traditional Silver Ten (October) season.

On Oct. 8 combined turnover on the Shanghai and Shenzhen exchanges totaled CNY 1,682.13 billion, up CNY 244.11 billion from the prior session. Shanghai turnover was CNY 811.18 billion (prev. CNY 679.40 billion) on volume of 482 million lots (prev. 415 million); Shenzhen turnover was CNY 870.94 billion (prev. CNY 758.62 billion) on volume of 533 million lots (prev. 495 million). Zhongji Xuchuang led single-stock turnover at CNY 21.29 billion, followed by Changxin Technology CNY 18.91 billion, Xinyisheng CNY 14.39 billion, CATL CNY 10.60 billion and GigaDevice CNY 10.07 billion.
