A Guangzhou dealership said on Oct. 9 that the upgrade plan referenced in JAC
Motors’ notice on ZunJie V800 brake-pedal bracket issues — including a redesign
and free upgrade option for already-delivered cars — has not been finalised. The
dealer added cars ordered now would likely receive the upgraded component on
delivery but design adjustments remain undecided; JAC did not respond to
enquiries. The dealership said the vehicle’s braking system currently meets
national standards. New orders require a 40,000 yuan deposit with a 24-hour
cooling-off period; estimated delivery is about 10–12 weeks.
