Hua Xia China Sci‑Tech Innovation 50 ETF (588000) saw turnover top 10 bln yuan for the first time since Aug. 19, marking a second straight day of elevated volume; as of publication the ETF was up 0.59%. In the afternoon multiple Sci‑Tech 50, 100 and 200 ETFs moved into positive territory after the Sci‑Tech 50 had fallen more than 4% intraday in the morning and the Sci‑Tech 200 had dropped nearly 6%.

On Oct 9 China's foreign ministry spokesperson Mao Ning said China opposes and will legally crack down on hacking and rejects politically motivated dissemination of false information.
