At midday close in China, domestic main futures contracts were mostly higher:
methanol up over 7%, coking coal up over 4%, LPG up nearly 4%, polypropylene and
plastics up over 3%, and coke, rubber and 20-grade natural rubber up about 3%.
Decliners included container-shipping Europe-route futures, down over 5%;
Shanghai tin and ethylene glycol (EG) down over 4%; lithium carbonate down over
3%; bitumen down nearly 3%; coated paper and urea down over 2%.
