MOFCOM and the EU issued a joint statement at the second China-EU Trade and
Investment Consultation Mechanism meeting, stressing the need to enhance
predictability and stability of global industry and supply chains. China said it
will continue to use a "green channel" to facilitate export-license approvals
for rare earths and permanent magnets to the EU; the EU said it will work with
member states to facilitate resolution of priority dual-use license cases
involving China.
