U.S. Middle East envoy Wittekoff said the U.S., the E3, the European Commission,
Ukraine and NATO representatives held constructive talks in Miami on options to
de-escalate and end the Russia-Ukraine war ahead of winter. Discussions targeted
winter energy supply security, grain export channels, security guarantees and
long-term Ukrainian and European security arrangements, alongside post-war
reconstruction, economic development and Ukraine’s EU accession. Wittekoff
described the talks as productive and said they clarified direction for U.S.
preparations ahead of the next engagement with Russia. Participants said they
will continue diplomatic efforts to pursue a sustainable peace.
