Ukrainian President Zelenskiy on the 11th told ABC that which leader Ukraine chooses should be decided by Ukrainian society and its people, responding to U.S. President Trump’s remark that Ukraine needs a new president. Zelenskiy said holding elections during wartime is very difficult, unsafe and would not comply with the constitution without security infrastructure to enable voting. He told Trump’s team Ukraine could hold elections if Russia agreed to a 60-day full ceasefire.

Per the China Air Transport Association using VariFlight and Ctrip data, China domestic routes averaged about 13,215 daily flights in September 2026, down 13.4% MoM, up 1.70% YoY and 8.93% above Sept 2019. Domestic international/region routes averaged ~2,262 daily flights, down 3.23% MoM, up 2.03% YoY and roughly 83% of Sept 2019 levels. Total passenger traffic in September was 64.0 mln, +2% YoY, with daily passengers above 2.1 mln. Average one‑way ticket fare was 830 yuan, +4.1% YoY, -13.1% MoM and +11.7% versus Sept 2019.
