The Ministry of Transport and two other departments issued the Inland New‑Energy Vessels Promotion and Application Action Plan (2026–2030). Designated green shipping corridors on the Yangtze, Xijiang trunk, the Beijing–Hangzhou Grand Canal and Yangtze Delta electrification pilot zones should form about 3,000 km of zero‑carbon waterway transport routes.
